About The Event

Workshop hosted by Andrea Sexton

Saturday 31 May 11am-3pm

This workshop is really about unleashing the playful artist within. We'll have so much fun, looking at a range of creative processes, including exploring a range of mark making tools, and creative practices! I often find adults are very nervous and shy about getting paint to paper. Where do you start? I can teach a range of starting points, easy compositions and unique outcomes.

Materials for you to bring

  • Paper collage material (such as vintage wallpaper, book pages, black & white images)

  • Acrylic paints

  • Inks

  • Pastels

  • Pencils

  • Gel Medium

  • Masking Tape

  • 3 A3 Sheets of Good Quality Paper (300gsm)

Some additional materials will be provided for further exploration.

If you need to purchase any of these materials, you can go to Southland Art Supplies.

Everyone is welcome, including older children if supervised by an adult also attending the workshop.

Coffee/ tea and light refreshment provided, you may bring your own lunch/snacks,

See you there!
