This playful vintage style, Rockabilly heart, art piece is one of a series based on my like/ curiosity for tattoo art of this era, maybe I’ll just get one myself one day! Until then, I’ll paint them.
This work is a combination of techniques, including painting and craving, (some in the series have a carved edge). The media used, include acrylics, inks and may, feature faint stamping. This work is finished with a layer of resin, to protect the image. This particular heart is carved around the edge.
As these are handmade, each work is unique and may have minor imperfections due to materials, please note, I am not a computer, nor machine.
These look great as individuals, also hung as a group. Note, you are purchasing one individual heart.
This work is presented on a wooden heart block, 120mm x 110mm and 10mm deep. They hang by a simple metal back triangle ring.
